Abstract

This study aimed to demonstrate the effect of quality of work life on the organizational commitment of researchers in the scientific research centers in Algeria - a case study of the scientific and technical research center for arid regions (Omar Barnawi) in Biskra -. The study population consisted of all 56 researchers at the center, and we distributed the questionnaire to all of them, and we obtained 36 valid questionnaires for analysis. The study concluded many results, the most important of which is that the quality of the working life explains 59% of the changes in organizational commitment. Therefore, the study recommends the necessity of improving the material working conditions more, and providing everything that helps the researcher to perform his tasks.
