Abstract

Inventory Valuation Methods give different costs for either Outputs or end-of-period Stocks for either Materials or Products, which gives a different effect on the outcome of the Organization or the accounting profit. Transport models as the most important quantitative Methods that help in decision-making within operations research can help to evaluate stocks by including the movement of stocks in and out within a transport model, can give us efficient results in stock assessment, whether the goal is to maximize or minimize without being affected by price fluctuations. Applying to one of THE COOPERATIVE PRODUCTS OF GRAINS AND DRY VEGETABLES in M'sila and for a month, it was found that they lead to efficient results in evaluating the outputs as well as the end-of-term stock in this cooperative, and thus rational control of the costs of stocks.
